Our group came for the Capital One Bowl, so we only needed a room for two nights. But I don't think I would stay there again. The location and the Black Angus Restaurant were great. We also experienced the same problems many other people have complained about. Bad air conditioning, poor cable TV reception, inoperative elevators and worst of all a dirty, smelly room. The smell in the room besides being moldy and musty, was an extremely strong smell of solvents. I use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea, and I smelled that room for a month in the machine.

On the day we arrived, I asked a room away from main street, the gentalman at the fron desk gave us a room close to elevator. This room neither away enough from street, nor is its cable TV working. We asked for help. The housekeeping technician came over, checked and said that TV would not work because the room was close to elevator. This means the hotel knew first hand that the TV would not work for rooms close to elevator, they shouldn't assign us this room while there still other rooms available.

Room was clean and much nicer than some other budget hotels in the area i have stayed in. It's not the Ritz, but looks the same at night when you are sleeping!

Great value and the first one with a heated pool that was heated to more than 70. My best guess is that the pool was low 80's and very comfortable. Wonderful Staff. Room was clean and much nicer than some other budget hotels in the area i have stayed in. It's not the Ritz, but looks the same at night when you are sleeping! Excellent resturant next door, but make sure you take the coupon flyer or they "forget" the discount. Paid a different price for same breakfast each morning.

Pros: VERY Warm Pool
Cons: Get rid of the resort fee

Are they permitted to tack on addtional charges they didn't even tell me about until I was checking out? The bed was a bit lumpy and the flush valve on the toilet stuck and leaked.

It was a really great hotel for the price we got. I was very irritated to find out about extra fees at check-in... and the maids were not very thorough... but otherwise it was a really good deal for the price. Especially in Orlando, because we only go to the room to sleep.

The hotel charged me an additional fee called Resort Service Charge & Tax of $13.00 over and above what I paid you for my stay. Are they permitted to tack on addtional charges they didn't even tell me about until I was checking out? The bed was a bit lumpy and the flush valve on the toilet stuck and leaked. The hotel was in a convenient location and the room was very clean.

Overall very good place. Good service, clean room. My only remark is the mouldy smell of the hallways, and the lobby decor.

Pros: Location
Cons: Hallway
