We asked to be moved to a quieter room and were allowed to move without hassle. However, this room was only slightly quieter than the first. Had to run the fan to drown out the freeway noise.

I read all the reviews about the free shuttle to Disneyland, but it turns out it's only free if you buy the tickets FROM Howard Johnson and even then, it costs $5 per adult. Just walk. Also, we were only staying 1 night so with crappy sheets and the A/C in our room being broken (produced HOT air instead), it was quite uncomfortable especially with it being really noisy outside so the door had to remain closed. However, staff was VERY nice.

I appreciated having a balcony that we could walk out onto. It was sort of noisy, but we found at night with the door to the balcony closed, that it was not an issue. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. An in-room safe and a refrigerator were an added plus. Very short walk to Disneyland. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pools looked nice, but didn't get a chance to swim. Gift shop is a litte more expensive for snacks/water/fruit, but there is a store a few hotels down on the way to the park that is cheaper. Only complaint is the constant hum of traffic noise from the I-5 that the hotel backs right up on, but I'm a light sleeper and it didn't bother me much, just bring some earplugs.

The rooms were updated and clean. The little shop downstairs had all the items you could need during your stay and the prices weren't bad. Just what we were looking for.

Pools looked nice, but didn't get a chance to swim. Gift shop is a litte more expensive for snacks/water/fruit, but there is a store a few hotels down on the way to the park that is cheaper. Only complaint is the constant hum of traffic noise from the I-5 that the hotel backs right up on, but I'm a light sleeper and it didn't bother me much, just bring some earplugs.
