With the pools and hot tub on the grounds, and the beach a few steps over the seawall, this hotel is perfect for couples and families with children. Get the beachfront efficiencies or north side rooms, since rooms on the south side toward the street can suffer from traffic noise.

Warm pool protected from wind on the beach. Good free cold breakfast. Need transportation to enjoy local restaurants and pastimes. Traffic noise on sides of hotel, I reccomend a oceanfront room for peace and quiet. Slightly higher price for oceanfront. Friendly staff.

Cheap rooms, and arrogant staff will have you in the vacation mood in no time flat! Make sure you upgrade to a real "ocean view" unless you want to stare at the various construction next door. Clean rooms, and not a bad view, but the staff ruined the experience for us.

The rooms are rennovated, cozy, and comfortable! The pool is huge and heated with lots of comfy lounge chairs. Our kitchen was clean and modern. The view was great, but I'd only stay in an oceanfront room or on the north side of the hotel because of the construction of another high-rise on the south side. They serve a free buffet breakfast each morning. Yes, a buffet. The employees are very friendly and eager to help. Parking is no problem.

Pool area is very nice as it stands between the hotel and the ocean: you can use the pool and spa until midnight which is great. The only thing that needs improvements is the dynamism of the staff. I will consider this hotel on my next trip to Daytona Beach because the price was great for the quality of the room and the view of the ocean

When we asked why they dais it was because we used the internet to book the hotel. This hotel DOES NOT have any sort of internet access.I mean which hotel doesn't nowadays. I saw worse looking hotels down the strip advertising their wifi access. I am dissapointed in the maids, room quality, and features. If it wasn't for the later renovations, the pool and the ocean front location I would give it 1 to 2 stars

The view was great, but I'd only stay in an oceanfront room or on the north side of the hotel because of the construction of another high-rise on the south side. They serve a free buffet breakfast each morning. Yes, a buffet. The employees are very friendly and eager to help. Parking is no problem.

The rooms are rennovated, cozy, and comfortable! The pool is huge and heated with lots of comfy lounge chairs. Our kitchen was clean and modern. The view was great, but I'd only stay in an oceanfront room or on the north side of the hotel because of the construction of another high-rise on the south side. They serve a free buffet breakfast each morning. Yes, a buffet. The employees are very friendly and eager to help. Parking is no problem.

Pool area is very nice as it stands between the hotel and the ocean: you can use the pool and spa until midnight which is great. The only thing that needs improvements is the dynamism of the staff. I will consider this hotel on my next trip to Daytona Beach because the price was great for the quality of the room and the view of the ocean

Price was ok for what you got. Hot Tubs had no jet power. Stay at a better place for a few more bucks like the Plaza Resort/Spa or go for The Shores Resort.

When we asked why they dais it was because we used the internet to book the hotel. This hotel DOES NOT have any sort of internet access.I mean which hotel doesn't nowadays. I saw worse looking hotels down the strip advertising their wifi access. I am dissapointed in the maids, room quality, and features. If it wasn't for the later renovations, the pool and the ocean front location I would give it 1 to 2 stars
