Reading the AAA review and noticing the three stars, did not lead us to the depth of age this "resort" acquired. The rooms are old; we moved to two different ones. The bedding is very out of date. The tech-no guy who came to service the hotel's "non-wireless for-pay internet"was a delight and very knowledgeable.

This hotel is currently under renovation and the rooms need it! However, the hotel complex is very nice, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and quiet. The restaurants recently opened and the food was fantastic. The service was terrific! I attended a professional conference there as well and the meals and accommodations were superb. The hotel is not downtown but there are shuttles, city bus, and taxis. Transportation was not a problem. The casino is small but not smokey. They do have a cable in the room but it was out of service during our stay. If it did work they were going to charge us by the day for its use. The free internet is wireless in the lobby.

Excellent vacation "City"! There is a 50 lane bowling alley, and shops galore. The steak restaurant was divine, and there are restaurants for everyone including TexMex, Johnny Rockets, Italian, Buffet, Coffee Shop, etc. We raced go carts, played in the arcade and laser tag center. Don't forget the outside pool hall, inside golf training center and they are building an indoor water park. A bus takes you skiiing, etc. Highly recommend for lots of fun!!!!!

Pros: city in itself
Cons: More customers

The A/C rattled and never seem to work at all. Called but never had anyone come up to fix the problem. No internet in the room. They do have a cable in the room but it was out of service during our stay. If it did work they were going to charge us by the day for its use. The free internet is wireless in the lobby.

Pros: The beds!
Cons: The Airconditioning

Off the interstate in Reno, this is just a giant casino/hotel. Rooms are clean, but dated. Certainly not grand. Waited 30 minutes to check in--ridiculous. Left my cell phone charger in the room and the found it promptly--very good service.

This hotel, formerly the Reno Hilton, has been redone and is fantastic. Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet and high-class, including flat-screen tvs, leather furniture etc. Work is still in progress but it already looks great and I can't wait to see the finished product!!

Pros: High-class renovation of Reno Hilton

This used to be the Hilton Reno. It's a bit off the main downtown area where all the casinos are, but not too far away. The rooms are very nice. However the hotel is still under renovation and the hallways, and outside of the hotel are not clearly marked. Also, the casino is kind of boring.
