This lovely hotel on Bourbon Street is right in the middle of all the action. I have stayed here on a few different occasions as well as attended events here (Tennessee Williams Festival) and I have always enjoyed the hotel, would certainly reccomend it to anyone. Very clean, comfortable rooms with large bathrooms and a very friendly staff.

Very nice place to stay. The staff is very friendly. I read some other reviews about noise from Burbon St. but I did not notice any. The room was small but it's New Orleans if you are in your room for anything other than a shower and sleep why go. They do need do not disturb signs for the door so housekeeping does not have to knock and wake you up. Higly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the middle of the Quater.

We absolutely love new orleans and the historic french quarter. We have stayed at several local hotels in historic buildings, this one was by far one of the better ones. It was absolutely quaint and fabulous with beautiful details and amenities. Not on Bourbon Street, so not the level of noise as with others directly on Bourbon. yet it is conncected to Bourbon via it's hotel bar, which is pretty great in and of itself.

Great hotel. The rooms were very nice and clean. 1 block off of Bourbon. Didnt think it would be as quiet as it was. Staff was wonderful. Breakfest buffet was overpiced but there are many locations to eat close to the hotel. If you like to shop during the day and hit Bourbon at night this is the best location you can ask for. I will stay there again every time I come to town.

Pros: Staff
Cons: Do Not Disturb sign for door.

This lovely old hotel in the middle of the French Quarter offers everything a traveler might want. The spacious room with two double beds, a marble bath and view of the courtyard was very quiet. The staff was pleasant and helpful. My only criticism is of the attire of the outdoor staff who wore black pants, jackets and knitted caps instead of uniforms befitting this fine hotel.

Pros: ambiance and location
Cons: bed sheets

The staff and service at the hotel were great! We had a great time watching the Saints go 3-0, and the city was alive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming here for business or pleasure.

Pros: Atmosphere/decor
Cons: Longer room service hours

Great hotel. The rooms were very nice and clean. 1 block off of Bourbon. Didnt think it would be as quiet as it was. Staff was wonderful. Breakfest buffet was overpiced but there are many locations to eat close to the hotel. If you like to shop during the day and hit Bourbon at night this is the best location you can ask for. I will stay there again every time I come to town.

Pros: Staff/Location
Cons: Nothing
