It is a very old hostel and needs some modernizing, but it was clean and the service was very good. The people were helpful and pleasant. They made excellent recommendations for places to eat.

The room and the hotel in general seemed clean, no complaints. The staff was very nice and informative and the location was great. I would stay there again.

Great shopping area and food is easily accessible everywhere. Transportation such as the trolley, Bart and train stations are about 3 mins walk only. Front counter staff are extremely helpful and friendly, which makes my stay in San Francisco a very good experience.

Small rooms are offset by great location, friendly staff, concierge onsite, easy valet parking. Definitely stay here if small rooms wont bother you. Bathrooms new and sparkling clean. Even had candy in room! Free internet, discount eating next door. I was very happy with this hotel.
