Compared to places we've stayed in Florida/California, etc. it doesn't really compare. The rooms are nice, but it felt like a remodeled Holiday Inn. However, the "remodel" job was done well and it's an above average place to stay. The conceige service was sub-par. There was rarely anyone there to assist and when we asked how to get to a popular restaurant, the person behind the desk had never heard of the restaurant. Overall though, it's a nice place to stay and a relaxing getaway.

Elegant is the word for the whole place. Had a massage at the new spa, loved it. Be prepared to spend the money though. First class.

So we decided on Branson. Since that is where we went on our honeymoon. Because we had our dog with us many places would not take us. We spent one night in Branson before finding the Chateau. I felt like a princess when we got to our room. We were treated like royalty. We couldn't do too much because of my husband being in a neck brace. But it was one of the most memorable anniversaries.
