We stayed at this hotel on short notice. We were quoted a price on saturday night, signed a paper agreeing on that price and when we cheched out, we were charged double that rate. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told one would call us back. After SEVERAL attempts to get in contact with a manager and being told we would get a call back we decided to drop it and move on. JUST MAKE SURE YOU GET A COPY OF YOUR QUOTED RATES!

Pros: Location
Cons: Service Consistency

The overall hotel condition is OK, not the best, not the worst but the offer free shuttle to the strip every hour until 11:00 pm; back and fort. The worst part is the breakfast buffet, expensive for what you get free in some other hotels, also the closet are falling apart; they really need to work on this. It has a decent swimming pool, attent staff.

Our stay started off on wrong foot. We reserved two rooms next to each other but got two rooms on opposite sides of the complex. Check-in was fiasco--extremely loud live music playing by reception desk nearly drowned out communcation. Our room was large enough and basically clean. You stay at BW Mardi Gras if you can't afford a $200+ per night stay in a neon palace on The Strip. We'd stay here again only if we couldn't find anything else. How this place continues qualifying as a Best Western property is one of life's imponderables.

Walking distance to Las Vegas Convention Center and Monorail station combined with modest (compared to The Strip) prices make this venue a decent place to stay. Inattentive wait staff at the restaurant was offset by very good help at the Front Desk. Rooms clean but aging a bit.

Pros: close to convention center

We wanted a cheap hotel without frills but close to the strip. This we got. The desk personnel, esp. Bridget, and housekeeping service went out of their way to help with details and information. They could not have been nicer! This attitude was greatly appreciated! If you want the Ritz, stay elsewhere. If you want a quiet stay, clean bed and shower and spend your extra $ in the casinos then STAY HERE!

When we first got the deal on the place online (*$* a night for a weekend), our thought was, "How bad could it be, it's a BEST WESTERN!" The staff we encounted was delightful, and was the sole reason we didn't jump off the balcony into traffic. Rooms were old, smelly and beat. Bathrooms seemed to be an afterthought (NO joke!) as they looked like converted closets (really -- which may explain the absence of closets). Carpeting in the halls was torn and a real hazard. The engineer had to come up to turn our TV "on," as they've had a problem with them walking away.

Stayed at the Property - Nov-2006

We wanted a cheap hotel without frills but close to the strip. This we got. The desk personnel, esp. Bridget, and housekeeping service went out of their way to help with details and information. They could not have been nicer! This attitude was greatly appreciated! If you want the Ritz, stay elsewhere. If you want a quiet stay, clean bed and shower and spend your extra $ in the casinos then STAY HERE!

Cons: nothing

The hotel was close to the strip. Shuttle service provided to the strip. Rooms were large, however you could hear the people in the room next to you. It was clean, and the maid came in everyday to straighten up and clean.

Pros: large room

One waiter did not return with change from the meal for b/fast. Another time the waitress brought back the wrong order. The desk staff I spoke to didn't seem to know much of anything outside of LV. The headboards are too close to the wall &91; if you know what I mean :-) &93;.

I thought the front desk and wait staff at the bar were some of the rudest I have ever met. Did not want to wait on anyone or give you help with any problems. And not only were they rude with me, I saw them be VERY rude with others. I am suprised you have this hotel listed with your service.

Pros: Close to conv. ctr

This hotel is great for events at the convention center. it is within walking distance to the LVCS, there is a shuttle to the strip, check in was simple, big closets, nice bed and loveseat. I would have prefered a microwave or stove in the kitchen and a TV in the bedroom area, but besides that it is definatley the best bang for your buck for LV events if you don't mind being off the strip.
