My husband & I were on our 2nd honeymoon and booked a king bed through Marriott's 800 number. Upon check-in, we were given 2 doubles. When we protested, the clerk said they're full and that Marriott's reservations line doesn't know what rooms are available. TOTALLY UNTRUE! The beds sagged in the middle like hammocks. It was the worst night's sleep for us! The hotel said they can give us boards to put under the mattresses. Hotel guest in elevator said his bed was also terrible. We won't return here!!!.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were on the 30th floor w/ ocean view, back tower. The breakfast buffet had EVERYTHING! I had a free 2+ hour Hawaiian quilting class on Thurs. sponsored weekly by the hotel. Other classes each day, like lei making, etc. I loved that opportunity. Elevators were slow and sometimes packed. Our check-in clerk needed to be much more informative about the garage, which tower we were in, etc. BUT overall...I can't wait to go back. Hubby even wants the same room. (Our first time over.)

We booked a "Partial Ocean View" room and were not disappointed as we had ocean views from both sides of our balcony along with a view of Diamond Head. You will "fall in love" with the beds-softest you will ever sleep on! We also loved the breakfast buffet each morning (part of our package) and the beach was directly across the street-very convenient. Laundry room was also very handy. We paid extra for the deluxe ocean view and expected it to be that - deluxe and it wasn't. However, the beds made up for our disappointment. Wanted to bring them home. Parking is expensive and was sometimes full. Location was great!

We booked a "Partial Ocean View" room and were not disappointed as we had ocean views from both sides of our balcony along with a view of Diamond Head. You will "fall in love" with the beds-softest you will ever sleep on! My sister and I spent 4 nights at the Marriott Waikiki after a week long cruise around the islands. It was the perfect ending to a perfect trip. We loved everything about the hotel. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, our room was gorgeous. The location of the hotel is wonderful, within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. We won't hesitate to stay here again. As a matter of fact we spent the last night of our trip in a well known hotel right down the street and wished the entire time that we were still at the Marriott!

We came to find out they have "oceanview" this is described above, then there "DELUXE Oceanview" This is what I expected but had to pay extra when I was there, and then "Oceanfront" Please be aware of what you are getting at the time of booking.

When booking a Oceanview room thats what you expect to get. We got an oceanview if you hand half of your body off the baloncy and cock you heada as far as it will go. We came to find out they have "oceanview" this is described above, then there "DELUXE Oceanview" This is what I expected but had to pay extra when I was there, and then "Oceanfront" Please be aware of what you are getting at the time of booking. Their though is if you can see the ocean - by putting yourself in a hazardous position- it is still consided a "Oceanview!)
