Reviewed by Emily Y. of Dallas of TX United States on Jul-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jul-2007 I was intrigued by the midcentury design, and that's why I chose the hotel for a one night layover in Phoenix. I loved it! The restaurant in the hotel was great. I didn't go to the Trader Vic's which is located on the property and ate only in the main hotel dining room, but I was very impressed. The crowd seemed to be pretty young (I'm in my 50s) although there were a few older folks around as well. All in all, it was really enjoyable and I'm returning in mid-August. |

Reviewed by Jackie T. of Dallas of TX USA on Jun-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jun-2007 Hotel Valley Ho is a destinating in itself! From the architecture to the interior design, this hotel exceeded all our expectations! Cafe ZuZu has an imaginative menu, and Trader Vic's is just plain fun. The only comment I can make that is remotely negative is that the A/C could work a little better - it was never as cool as we would have liked, but that's such a minor point compared to the great experience we had a the hotel! |

Reviewed by Marla R. of Tucson of az usa on Oct-2006 Stayed at the Property - Oct-2006 This is a fun retro hotel. Everything is absolutely beautiful, especially the fireplace in the lobby, and the sitting area outside the lobby with the fountain. I also loved the surprise outside seating areas. The pool is like a scene from a movie. My room was a King Cabana with a curtain to close off my patio, with an extra large chaise with a very cushy cushion. The bathroom was gorgeous and the bath products were generous and not the standard stuff. The people who were hanging out for Friday afternoon happy hour seemed to be having a great time. |

Reviewed by Daniel T. of Brentwood of CA USA on Oct-2006 Stayed at the Property - Oct-2006 Ho makes top tier of my list of favorite hotels. Cool vibes and architecture: cool lighting, colors, textures, fountains, sweet wide-screen, lots of convo-kick-back furniture (rooms and common areas) inside and out, all in a retro mod kind of way. Restaurants, shopping, and convenience store a short walk; more restaurants and shopping a 1 mile jaunt in the hotel supplied limo. The Valley Ho staff have excellent attitudes and deliver courteous and professional service. This is a great roost,? a neat place to party, and also a cool place to relax and rest-up. The Valley Ho is very chill. |
