2 queen beds, sleeper sofa and kitchen. More than enough room for 4 adults! Nice to have a refrigerator to stash some gourmet goodies/wine and save a little money. Continental breakfast a little pricey at $14.95 but nice little breakfast place next door. Subway 1 block away. Cozy 2nd floor lounge area where coffee available all day. Limited exercise equipment but open 24 hours.

Pros: Room Size
Cons: Complementary Water along with the coffee

I enjoyed my stay at the Affina 50. My room was well appointed, quiet with a wonderful view of the river. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom large and stocked with good quality bath products and lots of towels. There was a pillow menu so I could chose the type of pillow .The best feature of the hotel is it's location, on East 50th and 3rd Ave. Only 8 miles from La Guardia and within walking distance of the Frick and Metro. Museum. There are many places to eat around there and it is only 9 blocks from Bloomingdales. The staff are all very accomidating.

I bought this night in New York for my boyfriend and I as his Christmas present since we were seeing the car show. The afternoon staff was a bit rude but not too bad and we had to wait for our room. I was annoyed with them trying to downgrade us to a queen but oh well, over all it was quiet clean and the rooms were huge for NYC!! Loved the pillow menu and did not want to get out of bed in the morning. The hotel was quiet and spotless and the shower was huge!! Would definately recommend it to anyone, great location too!!

The Affinia 50 has lovely big rooms and really comfortable beds. The people are really nice and helpful. My wife and I spend a bit over a week in New York celebrating Christmas with family and friends. Staying at the Affinia 50 was the best choice. It is located just a few blocks from Rockefeller Center, is in close proximity to several great restaurants and there's a subway stop around the block. The service in the hotel was great. All the staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive to details. We would definitely stay here again.

After hearing about how small NYC hotel rooms were, I had prepared my teenage daughter to not expect much. Her words upon opening the door were "Oh, my gosh!" Other than Vegas, this room was the largest we have stayed in. True, it may be slightly dated, but is that so important??? Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. The bathroom was small, but certainly adequate with a nice shower with temperature settings. It was a bit of a walk to the Macy's area, but overall even the location was good.

We stayed in a room with two queen beds, and our room was HUGE! We loved the kitchen, with a table for eating the breakfast we brought with us. I would love to bring my daughter next time-only a short walk to Times Square, with shops and restaurants along the way. We ate at a great little Irish Pub called JD's too, right down the road. I loved my feather pillow and down comforter, and the bed. We were on the 17th floor, so our view was great too, and included a little terrace, with table and chairs. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We were SO pleased.

The bed was ultra comfortable. A great location, quiet neighbourhood in the heart of Midtown. Walk to 5th avenue, Rockefeller Central Park and Times Square. Stayed at the Property - Dec-2006

I read many reviews before choosing this hotel and I was very happy with the choice. The hotel has Queen size beds, instead of double, and they were very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure, had an adjustable shower head, and the towels were fluffy and soft. Room was clean and it was nice to have a kitchen to keep drinks cold. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great time had by all!

We visited NYC with our 18 yr. old daughter, and were delighted by how roomy our suite was. Large bedroom and livingroom plus a galley kitchen. Clean, bright and modern. The bed was ultra comfortable. A great location, quiet neighbourhood in the heart of Midtown. Walk to 5th avenue, Rockefeller Central Park and Times Square. One block to subway, a great way to get around town. Staff was great. Plenty of restaurants within a couple of blocks. Fresh fruit vendor up the street and a deli around the corner. We feel we got lucky finding this hotel and we will be back.

The trip went without a flaw. Northwest air was pretty much on schedule. I wish they had inboard entertainment though. The shuttle ride from "Golden" was nicley on time for all trips and the hotel was perfect. We loved our room and the location. The whole arrangements you made for us were much more than expected and made the whole trip really romantic. Thank you

First time in NYC. Great hotel. We had a room in the front of the building and being from a small town, the traffic noise just comes with the whole experince. Will be back this year
