Reviewed by Randy R. of on Feb-2008 Stayed at the Property - Feb-2008 Really nice old fashioned atmosphere. Comfortable, relatively spacious room. My only objection was value for price. It was very pricey and every additional thing you did cost extra, even local phone calls.

Even though there were two bathrooms in my room, they were quite small. Entrance is on lower level, but elevators don't go to the lower level, therefore you have to drag or lift your luggage down 7-8 stairs. An inconvenience.

WARNING: As of March/April 2007 there is construction right across the park, so be forewarned - without earplugs you will be up at 7 every day because of the heavy equipment. It sounded like they were chipping concrete or knocking away at something when I was there.

Yes, the bathrooms were small-we had 5 ladies with ages ranging from 40-63 and we had no problems what so ever. The beds were great. The whole entire staff was gracious and very accomodating. Whatever we asked was answered and whatever we needed was recieved. The hotel is very beautiful in an old elegant, graceful way. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere & was right in the middle of it all. We all will go back & stay here again!
