Reviewed by John L. of Spanish Fork, UT USA on Feb-2008 Stayed at the Property - Feb-2008 The Outrigger Nipili Shores condo unit that we stayed in was great. It was clean, spacious, and had everything that we needed for a home away from home accomodation. The property is located right on the beach, so depending on your units location you can have a view of the ocean. It was a pleasure waking up with the sound of the waves crashing on the beach nearby. The room we enjoyed was a studio unit with full kitchen and bath, not to mention the lanai that had an ocean view. Don't hesitate to book this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Rooms (at least ours) recently updated with granite countertops and more. Studio was smaller than others we have stayed at but adequate. Only drawback is that since there is no AC it can be a little noisy with the windows open, otherwise did not need AC with Ocean breezes and ceiling fans.

We asked to be moved to another room 263. Was better but bedrooms all have windows facing parking lots. People are walking, talking, driving fast thu parking and noise is terrible. Garbage and delivery trucks-noisy. Would recommend somewhere else if you want to rest and relax with no noise. We were glad to come home and sleep for a whole night. We will definitely find another resort hotel if we return to Maui.

Only two stories makes easy and quick access to front desk, pool, and especially the beach. Views of the near by island and the sunsets were beautiful. Not a very congested area. Lots of sea turtles and clear water. Restaurants there have excellant food. Also, all the rooms were being renovated when we were there.
