Reviewed by William T. of Los Angeles of CA United States on Jun-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jun-2007 We had just entered the room and my wife went to the bathroom sink and asked if I could fix something. I went to pull the sink stop and the entire piece just lifted up. Since I was there I figured I would wash my face. As the water ran, it just kept rising. There was no need for a sink stop since the drain was clogged anyways. That night we tried to turn on the lights next to the bed. They didn't work. Add the thin walls and noise from the adjoining rooms and it was the biggest waste of $*.00. Our room 211. 211 is the call sign for robbery in progress.

Reviewed by John W. of San Diego of CA on Dec-2006 Stayed at the Property - Dec-2006 Went to our assigned room: it had not been cleaned; returned to front desk, was given a different room; went to that room, it hadn't been cleaned either; was given a third room; it was OK until we discovered that the toilet was stopped up; (we kept room; staff remedied the blockage). No hair dryer: this is the first hotel that I've stayed in the past 5 years without one. Water in shower was either scalding hot or lukewarm/cold; Shower head was only about 25% functional. Pool was out of order. A memorable stay.

Cable TV had full channel lineup. Nicely trimmed grounds. Sparse continental breakfast: 2 kinds of Costco-style pastries, 2 kinds of juice, coffee and an apple. Walls are rather thin--could clearly hear my neighbors and water running in the pipes. An upstairs room alleviates it somewhat. I'd stay here again.

The room here was so clean and comfortable, the staff so friendly and helpful, and there was even a Denny's in the same parking lot. The next time I go to SLO, I will stay here again!
