Reviewed by Bill M. of on Jun-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jun-2007 What an embarrassment for the Intercontinental Hotels Group. I searched hard for an affordable hotel for a California family vacation. What disgusting accommodations. From dilapidated rooms to the most uncaring, disengaged staff I?ve ever met, this hotel is the worst I?ve stayed in over 23 years of family vacations. The ?sleeper sofa? was in such bad shape you could see every spring and vile stain from the inside out. The ?recliner? collapsed each time it was opened and no one would do a thing. I?ve now waited 3 weeks for the hotel manager to return my call. Be very afraid. |

Reviewed by David S. of on Apr-2007 Stayed at the Property - Apr-2007 It is billed as an suite hotel, when it is really an extended stay with no housekeeping. We signed up for a 2-star hotel, believed we were getting a hotel. To our chagrin, we didn't learn there was no housekeeping until we returned to our unkempt room after a very active day. If you want cheap extended stay it might work, but if you want an inexpensive hotel . . . stay away! |

Reviewed by Cheri G. of NLV of NV USA on Feb-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jan-2007 This place was great! Rooms were nice, clean, friendly staff, close to hotels. Rooms were not overpriced. Check in was easy, check out was simple. They lock doors at night and you need a room key to get in, great security measure. |

Reviewed by J K. of Everett of WA USA on Apr-2007 Stayed at the Property - Dec-2006 Although a touch Spartan, if traveling on the weekend special, Candlewood is an excellent base camp for both Anaheim & Disneyland. Intended as short term studio apartment rentals for business travelers, you won?t find typical hotel check-in and amenities. But then, you?re not coming here to visit the hotel room. Disney park shuttle has a stop next door, but you?ll likely want to have a car if staying here. Bottom line: Families w/children would be happier elsewhere. For single travelers & those coming on business, it?s a quiet reliable place to stay while in the Anaheim region. |
