The rooms were very small. Fourth guest has to pay extra. Location was great in Secaucus and near NYC. Free breakfast was decent. Mattresses were very hard. Compared to staying in NYC, the price was very good. Just good enough to sleep in if you will be exploring the sights of the area.

Excellent room, facility and location to NYC. Staff super friendly and helpful. They have free shuttle to bus stop, then a $*/ 20 min bus ride thru Lincoln tunnel to Port Authority bus terminal. From there walking to Times Square, Boat Tours, Broadway shows. Excellent comp breakfast. Large and comfy beds. Free parking. This is the place to stay for the Meadowlands and NYC visits.

The only real problem we had with this hotel was the price. I had prepaid through online travel website for 2 adults and 2 children. When we arrived at the hotel they said that they only accept travelocities payment for 3 people. They then said they had to charge us an extra $20.00 a night for the second child. I called travelocity, no help. Why does travelocity not get the correct price from the hotel for any extra people? They do ask how many are traveling. The hotel was decent for the price and the breakfast was really much better than a usual continental.

This hotel does not work if your plans are to commute to New York. Departures of the hotel's shuttle are at their convenience and the staff was uninterested in accommodating guests. We always had to wait. The train schedule did not usually coincide with the shuttle's arrival, so we also had to wait as much as an hour for the next train. The shuttle stops picking up at 10pm, so if you stay late in NYand arrive back in NJ past 10pm, you have to take a taxi to the hotel at $12.00 plus tip (standard price). It's fine if your goal is to visit Secaucus, NJ.

Pros: free full breakfast

11 small town Southern folks (from ages 10-60) loved this place. Good location. We drove right in on Mapquest directions. Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Fantastic shuttle service. Zip in Lincoln Tunnel and you're right in Port Authority/NYC. 20 min bus/sub ride, tops! For about $100/night, great place with a GOOD hot breakfast bar for free. Nice neighborhood, safe to walk to bus stop, if you want. Could see Giants Stadium from my window. Definitely a good hotel for NYC sightseers who want to save $.

This was our first trip to NYC. We were unsure how to get around, but read the reviews of this hotel and loved the amenities offered. There is a bus that runs until 11:30pm from NYC to Secaucus and drops you off about a tenth of a mile down the street. We used this service often because we stayed all day in NYC and came back late in the evenings. We can not wait to go back and stay at the same place! I can not say enough about the breakfast, service and friendliness of the staff. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know that is heading to NYC!

there are probably better rooms in Secaucus but probably not better breakfasts. It was the best part of our stay there. This was our first time to New York and yet we knew better than to attempt to drive in NYC. The complimentary shuttle stops running at 10:00pm. So if you plan a night on the town in NYC, you'll need a cab back to the hotel from the bus stop or train station. They ARE available. Note:It's NOT possible to park at the train station so the hotel shuttle is very necessary. And it does run regularly. Overall we found it a pleasant experience.

Check -in was fine. room assigned was poor.Room smelled of chemical cleaner( probably just shampooed the rug). I called for house keepping to spray som air freshener, no one ever came. I was told my room reservation included breakfast, but next morning I was charged for breakfast, I showed frt desk my reservation, which stated breakfast included. charge was never taken off. I would not stay here again. There are much nicer hotels in the immediate area.

Cons: service, everything

there are probably better rooms in Secaucus but probably not better breakfasts.

The woman that checked me in was a trainee but she was friendly and the process went quickly, The room was nice no problems every thing worked.. Free Shuttle Service to and from Secaucus NJ train station $5 round trip into Penstation NYC. They also offer limousine service into NYC but it is expensive if you don't want to take the train..
