The pool is big with a beach on one side. My one MAJOR complaint is it is just too crowded. I had to set the alarm for 7 am just to get a lounge chair. There were easily 200 people in the pool including lots of babies in diapers. Someone threw up in the pool and one side had to be closed. I was really grossed out by how dirty the pool got by the end of the day. If you are looking for somewhere to just relax, this is not the place. If you want a nicely decorated room with great sheets and crowds don't bother you, stay here. Drinks at the pool were expensive so bring your credit card.

Pros: room
Cons: capacity

The hotel and pool are very nice but on Memorial Day Weekend unless you get there at 8:00am there is not a chair or lounger to be found and there was probably 300 people in the pool. Also, there really is no kid's club. It is only open on the weekends and then only from 9:00am to noon. I'm not sure who would ever take advantage of that.

Cons: kid's club

Last day of trip we intended to relax by the pool all day which is main attraction of resort. We arrived at pool at 10 a.m. and were greeted by 10-15 maintenance men with jackhammers and other machinery to renovate the pool. The front desk had no clue that this was going on and when we stated our frustration during check out and that we had stayed an extra night to relax by the pool they offered no explanation or reparations only that they hope we come back. Well we won't...

Cons: Maintenance

My husband and I stayed here for our 41st wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, very comfortable, and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. They even had a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room when we arrived. We could lay in the bed and see the mountains out of the sliding glass doors. What a beautiful sight. The Sirocco restaurant in the hotel has great food, it is expensive, but we got a special called the Tasting of Sirocco for $18.95 a person. We also loved the breakfast brunch.

Pros: grounds & staff
Cons: nothing

My husband and I absolutely loved the hotel! The pool is awesome, has a lot to offer from a beach for the kids, kid pools, jacuzzis, pool bar.... Our room was clean and very comfortable, best beds/linens! We definitely will return. And it is great for the kids, too! No one made us feel like we had to keep the kids quiet! They had a blast!

Pros: The rooms are comfortable
Cons: I can't think of anything
