The hotel was clean, staff helpful, parking easy, and convenient location to the harbor and a park across the street with tennis courts and baseball diamond. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the continental breakfast was adequate. Will definitely stay here again

Finding a affordable hotel in a good location in Santa Barbara over the weekend is a challenge. Try a holiday weekend! The BW Beachside fit the bill. The location is near the harbor, with great service, the rooms spacious and newly renovated, all under $200. There was Full Menu Room Service provided by a nearby restaurant that took less than 30 minutes on a Friday night. The continental breakfast needs a bit of work, the pastry selections were a bit stale. Better signage would assist guests getting from the parking lot to the lobby, and from the lobby to the guest room.

Pros: Location
Cons: Signage

This was the worst hotel I have stayed in in 15 years. There were ants in the room, the sliding glass door didn't close at the top so busy street noise kept us up, shower head was positioned for a 4 foot tall person, sink faucet handle fell off in my hand, lights didn't work, homeless man wandering around the parking lot so didn't feel comfortable walking around at night with infant. Customer service wasn't accomodating nor were they truthful. For $* a night this hotel was extremely lacking.
