Reviewed by sc b. of on Oct-2007 Stayed at the Property - Oct-2007 This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I travel a lot for business and for fun. The room didn't feel "clean", the bathroom was obviously in need of some work. The bed was actually hard. No exaggeration - it was slightly software than a bench. The elevators are incredibly slow. On average it would take around 8-10 minutes for an elevator to be available that wasn't already full. Again, not exaggerating. The "restaurant/bar" is actually only open for breakfast. It is also in one of the worst areas in Toronto. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Trust me.

The hotel does not pretend to be a great "destination" in itself, but for the weary business traveller or tourist it was pleasant, with courteous, quick, unobtrusive service and provided exactly what I needed at a good price.
Pros:	Great basic hotel.
Cons:	Nothing, really.

Too many panhandlers and hookers on the street. Don't know if anything could be done about that. I would still consider the hotel for another trip.

Prebooked King no smoking, placed into dbl/dbl rm. front desk said take it up with travelocity. hotel adequate ok price, near to gayvillage, walking ditance to downtown. overall 2-3. Do not recommend to someone who wants pampering and amenties.
