Reviewed by Teresa E. of staten island, ny usa on Sep-2007 Stayed at the Property - Sep-2007 What a dissappointment. upon entereing my room,, the stench was overwhelming, mildew, cigarettes, and some other mystery odor, changed to another room,, this one was also offensive, sleeping there made me physically ill,, and when we complained,, to make matters worsel. they intentionally gave us a 5'30, and a 6'00 wake up call,, when we did not request any at all. to close,, STAY AWAY FROM THE GOLD COAST COMFORT INN!!!!

It is located across the street from the beach and there are crossing lights to aid anyone that needs to make a safe passage to the beach. Their laundry room is HORRIBLE: two washers and one dryer (the other was broke).

Denny's and a pizza shop are close. The room was clean and bedding was newer. Plenty of parking. However, the room and hallway smelled a little odd. We had a room with a bad view. The location is far from the boardwalk so drive and park to get there. Cross the street and your at the beach!

And this was the best decision we ever made, we really enjoyed our stay, the staff was nice and helpful. They even left a message because we didn't want to be disturbed for room service to call the front desk if we needed anything and I thought that was great! I would definitely stay there again!!
