Room service was exceptionally fast and the desserts ordered were what you?d expect from an excellent restaurant. One of the two bath robes was missing from our room. During our stay we had an unfortunate incident with the valet damaging our vehicle and then falsifying documents to cover it up (security tapes showed the truth). Correcting the situation took longer than it should have with several in-person discussions during our stay as well as back-and-forth phone calls after the visit. I?m disappointed in Fairmont. |

The upgrade suggestion we got at check in was the best thing we could have gotten. For just a little extra $ we got a room with a killer view and I have pictures to prove it!!! |

Room with no view, tasteless pseudo-historical furnishing, stuck window, non-functioning AC... We didn't realize bathrobes were missing until the second night. We weren?t even offered to receive Chronicle rather than NY Times. (In SF?) Welcome bottle of sparkling wine was a nice touch, but it was dipped in dusted lukewarm water. We feel sorry for the lack of finishing touch of attention the historical establishment deserves. Regrettably we will not recommend it to my friends. |

I was very pleased with our stay at the Hampton Inn. This hotel is in a quiet area(we stayed at the one on Gateway Ave. in the business distrct). The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived three hours early and they let us check in ahead of time. We enjoyed the free hot breakfast each morning.The hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the airport and surrounding areas. |
