I called the day prior to our arrival to check if it would be possible to get two rooms side by side. I was greeted by a less than friendly hotel employee who explained that they were fully booked and very busy and would make no guarantees. Alas, when we checked in the following day there were no rooms side by side, thankfully at least on the same floor though. 3 out of 4 elevators were out of order. The room was old, dirty and small. I would highly suggest against staying in this hotel unless you are looking for a sub par experience at best.

I slept soooooo well while on vacation here! My mom and I had a "girl's vacation" here for a week and were very happy. Requested adjoining rooms - no problem. Brought up the little fridge *right* away. No noise from construction below. Staff courteous and helpful - even the valet and bellman (who called to make sure the fridge had been sent up!). Excellent location close to all downtown shopping and public transportation for other areas like pearl district. But agree nickel and diming you to death with parking, internet, and fitness room fees!

Pros: Beds and room
Cons: some fees

This was an OK Hilton hotel. Having just come from the Hilron NYC, this was a lower standard. Elevators were clanky and sounded if they would break. Food was good, but not outstanding. Staff was excellent.

The front desk staff was great - very helpful. However, the description doesn't mention that the fitness center is an additional $10 per day and the high speed internet is an additional $10 per day. The fitness center charge seemed gratuitous. Also, the ventilation system could use some work. When I turned on the heating system in the morning it triggered a massive allergy attack for me. Otherwise, the location was great, and the room was super quiet, which is a wonderful thing, as some hotels can be noisy.

We really wanted to be in downtown Portland this visit to see friends. The staff is not very friendly, sometimes standoffish. We had a problem with cold eggs, and our server said she would take care of it. But that was it. Nothing was done. We expected more. The whole breakfast did not even pretend to be warm Very disappointed in the cold breakfast and the lack of follow through when we told the server.
