Reviewed by C D. of Apex, NC United States on Feb-2008 Stayed at the Property - Feb-2008 Newly remodeled rooms are very nice. The bathroom is even decorated, although they could use brighter lights. Riverside rooms have a great view of the USS North Carolina Battleship. Remodeling is still in progress but did not bother us. A Ruth's Chris Steak House will be opening in the hotel soon. Yum! Staff was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay at the Wilmington Hilton Riverside again.

It was Christmastime during our stay and the staff were very friendly and tried to make you feel at home. Our main objection was it was not quite as clean as it could be. They served a basket with a continental breakfast, but it would be nice to have a microwave in the room to heat the danishes, etc. Nice snack selection at the front desk. Again, very friendly, helpful staff during our entire 2 night stay.

The first night we got there I heard a dripping noise all night that was coming from my a/c unit. That night I could not get any sleep. The next day I went to the front desk and told them about my issue. They moved me too a different room a gave me the night free. The best service ever!!!
