Reviewed by Susan H. of TX USA on Jan-2007 Stayed at the Property - Dec-2006 We had a lovely 3 night stay at The Drake over New Years. There were a few disappointments though. We booked in October and called the hotel for New Year's Eve info which they had none at the time. When we called back in December, the party was sold out and we could not even eat at the main hotel restaurant. Housekeeping left something undone each night. But the room was spacious and nicely appointed and the hotel is beautiful with a great location convenient to shopping and restaurants. Don't miss the Coq d'Or for martinis and the hamburger!

The bathroom ceiling was peeling, and the counterspace is very small. The woodwork is chipped and the room felt dark and shabby. Also it was roasting hot all night and the window wouldn't open. Not worth the money.
