The staff was not unfriendly, but not particularly helpful. We tried calling the front desk on numerous occasions but no one ever answered. The beds were uncomfortable and the towel my husband was using disintegrated all over his head, leaving white fibers everywhere. The lobby is attractive but there is no information whatsoever on local attractions.

Pros: All suites
Cons: Service
Recommended For: Families Business Couples

Rooms are not as large as they appearin photos. I asked someone at the front desk if they could call me a taxi to go into town. I also asked how much I should expect to pay. I was told $10 maximum. I went to the lobby at the time I requested and they forgot to call the taxi. When the taxi did arrive my total into town was $22. Big difference.

Pros: Clean and allows dogs
Cons: Staff
Recommended For: Business

Large, clean, quiet, updated two-room on highway side of hotel. Breakfast okay, but considering the area, hotel really should have better wines at happy hour (horrible). Several pet friendly rooms available. Overall- decent value

Pros: Proximity to UCSB
Cons: Happy hour wine selection
Recommended For: Families Business
