Reviewed by Emily G. of Asheville of NC United States of America on Feb-2007 Stayed at the Property - Feb-2007 i would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the new haven area. it was very clean and well-kept. most of the staff were very friendly and willing to help. i had dinner and breakfast from Templeton's (the hotel restaurant) and both meals were excellent. the hotel also provided complimentary shuttle service and the driver was very kind and accommodating! i would change nothing about the experience

I made two rooms reservation, however upon on arriving the front desk clerk informed me that I will have only one room ?because hotel is sold out and by mistake they took extra reservation?. I talked to the night manager, who wasn?t helpful at all. As a result, four of us end up staying in one room! Bad-bad experience. I will never stay at New Haven Hotel

The whole building used to be an upscale therapy hospital, now it is just the third floor. As a result, there is no bathtub, just a shower, but amazing swim facilities. Exercise room was also very nice. Food in the restaurant was excellent, the service was uneven. They just don't quite always remember they are dealing with healthy consumers.
