Reviewed by Rich A. of CA USA on Nov-2006 Stayed at the Property - Nov-2006 My second stay at the Park Manor Suites and will be the only place I stay when visiting San Diego. Great location across the street from Balboa Park, great for early morning walks or runs. A 10 minute walk to University Avenue for dinning and shopping. The hotel built in 1926 shows no signs of wear. The hotel is very well maintained and very helpful staff. They do have a happy hour on the top floor Friday and Saturday nights, but allow hotel guest first shot at the elevator. There is a free parking lot has 40 spaces, first come first serve otherwise its street parking.
