The price -affordable; but I think I would have spent the extra 150 to stay at one of the other newer/larger hotels. The view-beautiful, but because of the location of the room, it was extremely noisy until approx 04:00 AM. The appearance of hotel/casino - outdated & aged. Not much airation & with the low ceilings, the casino is smokey and smells musty. If someone was looking for a place just to sleep, Barbary is OK, but if you want the Vegas experience, I would recommend a different hotel. |

Reviewed by Kim W. of Louisville of KY on Dec-2006 Stayed at the Property - Dec-2006 I stayed at the Barbary Coast over the weekend of the Vegas Marathon and the Rodeo, so Vegas was packed - however, the staff was incredibly prompt and helpful in every possible way. The only issue I had was the poor ventilation in the casino, but that's really the case in most of them. The rooms were comfortable and the TVs were nice. I was really impressed by the size of the rooms. |

Reviewed by David M. of IL United States on Oct-2006 Stayed at the Property - Oct-2006 Overall Imy stay was OK. |

Very nice restaurant called Michaels, and a CRAZY after hours club called DRAYS. Also, another post said no AMENITIES.... the Barbary owns the Gold Coast all you have to do is show your room key there to use the pool (this might also work at the Orleans and South Coast, but I am not positive) |

Reviewed by David M. of IL United States on Oct-2006 Stayed at the Property - Oct-2006 Overall Imy stay was OK. |

The newly remodeled rooms were very nice. The wall-mounted plasma TVs were a big hit with the guys. The location can't be beat, right in the middle of the strip, in the heart of the action. The gambling at Barbary Coast is pretty good too. We played 21 and craps. I'd definitely stay there again! |
