Reviewed by K D. of CA USA on Jun-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jun-2007 The hotel loaction is a few blocks from the harbor. There is a nice courtyard and small pool area. The rooms were a bit dated but clean. Santa Barbara is expensive, and this is a great hotel for a night or two.

The room was like a studio apartment; clean with fully stocked kitchen with nicer pots than I have at home, huge closet. Office staff nice and helpful; they have DVDs you can check out at no cost, which was great for my kids. My only dislike was the table - a bistro-style table for 2, and I had 2 little kids with me ... we picnicked on the floor because the chairs were too high for them.

I guess it turned out to be a good thing that I didn't get any sleep because not only did the alarm not work but the wake service failed me as well. Would not stay here again.

Excellent for vacation travel since it has a full kitchen, small dinette area as well as a full bathroom and the bed. It's close to the train station, the harbor and fairly close to downtown SAnta Barbara where the prices run from 170-319. This is a great value.
