The adjoining restaurant (Lola) was great. We didn't have a meal there, but the drinks & dessert were good. It's in a great location - just a few blocks from Pike's Place. Walking distance to lots of restaurants & bars. My only complaint was the price of overnight parking ($*/night).

Soundproof walls, comfortable feather comforters, 100% cotton sheets, staff; courteous and attentive with good suggestions for dining and knowledgeable driving directions. Luxurious smelling soups and comfy robes as a nice bonus. Nice boutique hotel, neither assuming nor pretentious with a Modern European flair. Looking for a view? Then this is not the place for you. If you want class and comfort, then indulge.

I got a room at the 3rd floor and the smell was horrible. Then I switched to 7th floor which is better, but the smell still comes out from the edge of carpet. I still give it 3 stars because it is a beautiful hotel and is excellent in everything else. However, because of the smell I will not visit it again.

Check in servce was very efficient and friendly as was check out. There are two restaurants on either side of the lobby, one accesible from the hotel the other next door, are both very interesting and inventive.
