We just returned from a company meeting at the Grosvenor--and it was great. My family of three had one of the wing rooms overlooking the pool and gardens. Everyone was incredibly friendly and the room was nice--and it looks like soon they will be even nicer. I saw renovations being done at various sites around the resort. We only saw and heard the workmen a couple of times since we were busy each day. It wasn't a bother at all.

It's worth the money. Yes, it's dated. (Our room could have used a makeover) Yes, it wasn't the most modern room. BUT, the room was clearn, it's a good location, bus service was reliable and every half hour, the pool area is gorgeous, the staff all very nice. For $* a night on Disney property, it's worth it. The corridors were dingy. The stairwells were reminiscent of a horror flick. The room was in need of a deep clean and the bathroom was in need of a make-over. The outside and lobby give the appearance of a top notch hotel, however, in the "wing" rooms, your expectations are quickly squashed. The staff was courteous, however. I only stayed here due to the quick time frame when we planned our Disney trip and no affordable Disney hotels were available.

This hotel is close to downtown disney which is handy, you can walk over there easily and catch buses, or you can catch disney buses back to downtown disney when you want to come back and then walk over to the hotel. saves time on the hotel bus. the hotel itself is in need of updating but the rooms on the disney view side are nice at night, if you want to see the fireworks from your hotel window, you actually can, we watched them every night, that is a bonus. The rates are very reasonable too.

The hotel is extremely close to Marketplace in Downtown Disney-you can walk if you needed to. The hotel itself was clean. They were working on the side of the building where we stayed, so our view from our landing was of construction and the elevator was broken, but the room was clean, checkin was easy and the lobby was clean. I would stay here again and I probably will.

I go every month .. I settled for the Grossner only because everything else was booked up and the photos looked nice on the internet.. Well the towels smelled horrible and the room looked like it was stained with dodo on the walls and on the carpet.. TV reception was horrible the staff was rude. And the room smelled like urine.. Moved us to new room, daily cleaning was slack - left us with no toilet paper, dirty towels. Carpets were badly stained and the beds were uncomfortable. Won't make this mistake again!!

Checked in at 2:30pm, room not cleaned from previous occupants. Notified desk, they said "we'll have it cleaned up right away". Went back to room at 8:00pm - still not taken care of. Moved us to new room, daily cleaning was slack - left us with no toilet paper, dirty towels. Carpets were badly stained and the beds were uncomfortable. Won't make this mistake again!!

Pros: the night personnel and the little food store
Cons: overall management

It's worth the money. Yes, it's dated. (Our room could have used a makeover) Yes, it wasn't the most modern room. BUT, the room was clearn, it's a good location, bus service was reliable and every half hour, the pool area is gorgeous, the staff all very nice. For $* a night on Disney property, it's worth it. TIP: taking the bus back from the parks, get off at the Hilton and walk across the street to save from having to wait until the last stop!)

Pros: Close to Downtown Disney
Cons: Hotel needs to be updated and cleaned
