Right smack in center of all Boston attractions. Walk out the door and be on the Freedom Trail. Couple blocks from Boston Common, Quincy Market, Charles River, Boston Harbor. It's perfect for walking all over downtown areas. No taxi or rental car needed if your seeing the sights downtown. Room was very clean, service was wonderful, beds were comfy, staff was friendly. A great stay for my family. Smaller rooms, but was plenty of space for my family of three.

The hotel is old...and I understand that...We are not used to that small ( tiny) room. When we go there, the hotel was over bocked...I pay for a bigger room, and they put us in a small room because that all they have. They offer to change us to a bigger room two days later...I did npt know what to do because we already paid for...I only like the location. Also, the hotel was cover with a mosquito cover , ALL outside the hotel...was ugly ( some kind of constrution done outside the hotel)

Pros: The Lobby...
Cons: The carpet in the room. A lot of things...

We loved staying at the Omni Parker House. We picked this location because of the 3 night deluxe king offer and also because of the reviews we read on your website. The beds are absolutely heavenly. We ate in two of the three restaurants and they were delicious, loaded with atmosphere. Old world feel about the place. Location, location, location! We just stepped out of the door and we were on the Freedom Trail. It was a 12 min walk to the ocean, and within 15 minutes to almost all of the historic sites.

Our room was a delux double with double beds and it was so small the tv was pushed up the food of one bed. There was only a small mirror in the bathroom which was not easy when changing. The room wasn't cleaned until the 3rd day of our vacation and we had no desk but were promised one. This is just a few things. But the beds are very comfortable

The Paker House is the oldest hotel in Boston rich with beauty and history. Just a few blocks from the Quincy Market and directly on the Freedom Trail. The rooms are small but have triple sheeted beds with lovely linens. At check in, the children where given goodie bags which contained a postcard, photo frame, deck of cards, slinky, activity book and a plastic travel cup which could be filled for free at both the hotel restaurant and bar throughout your stay. This was our 2nd stay and we will certainly be back.

The room was about as big as a postage stamp. Much too much for the price. I could not walk aroung the bed to get to the chair, the armoire with the 19" tv was in the corner and was about 5" from the corner of the bed. So, I had to crawl over the bed to get to the chair. I would not stay there again, for that price I would stay somewhere else.

I was distraught when I saw the room was smaller than my walk-in closet! It fits 1 double bed and had a Tv and chair wedged against the wall. There was literally about 1 foot of space between the sink and the wall - I had trouble blowdrying my hair wedged in between the wall and the sink -and I'm a size 2. When I asked for an upgrade I was told nothing was available.

Stayed at the Property - Jul-2002

Hotel is an older hotel but still has very good service and ameneties. Bathroom was small and not very modern but clean and in good working order. The location allowed us to park the car and not use it until we left.

Pros: Location
Cons: Update bathroom
Recommended For: Families Business Couples
