We were in San Francisco on one of the warmest days of the year so far, and the room had NO AIR CONDITIONER!!! When we, in our disbelief, called the desk, the clerk's reply was something akin to 'what do you want me to do about it?' The manager called the room and tried to smooth things over, but it was too late. Is there such thing as paying over $* for a hotel room with no air conditioning as part of the basic operating plan????? We left immediately
