Reviewed by Joel P. of VA USA on Jul-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jul-2007 I agree with the 2 previous reviewers. All fhe elements are there for a 3 star hotel. The bathroom is slightly cramped. But the hotel is elegant and the staff are helpful and friendly. But I think the downtown hotels should make allowances for travelers who want to leave their cars in one place for their stay. It is an insult to us to have to pay that much just to accomodate our cars so that we can have peace of mind while we are there for a 2 or 3 day stay. Please give us a discount if we do not plan to move our cars! |

Reviewed by M G. of milwaukee of wi usa on Oct-2006 Stayed at the Property - Sep-2006 First time in Atlanta went for a weekend. Hotel is fantastic the staff was friendly and curtious. Had great views from the middle floors overlooking cnn and centinial park. Very close to attractions took no more than 10minutes to get to most attractions. Beds were confortable. Only bad things were the $18 for parking and the area around it. lots of panhandlers especially in the park and the little plaza across the street from the hotel. The benches are pretty much beds to the homeless there all day long. Not so comfortable at all walking around at night. |

Reviewed by R W. of TN USA on Oct-2006 Stayed at the Property - Sep-2006 I love the 'Marriott' and normally this is the only hotel that I really enjoy staying. I always book 'Marriott' in whatever city we are staying in - I love rhe convenience and the service. The Atlanta Downtown Marriott - (160 SW) the service was great -very close to the Georgia Dome. My daughter and I decided to catch the Marta and go shopping, our first experience, and the gentlemen, Michael, Kenya helped us a lot, getting a map and showing us where to go and how to return. Now that is service with a smile. THANKS, THE WILSON FAMILY (TSU,Nashville, alumni) |
