Reviewed by Red S. of Charleston of WV USA on May-2007 Stayed at the Property - Apr-2007 We have usally stayed downtown and decided to stay at the Crowne Plaza because we needed to do some tax free shopping and it put us near several shopping ares. We had no idea what a great location it was, surrounded by many restuarant choices and very upscale. Loved the beds and room service was a wonderful indulgence the first night...and it was great...not what we expect from a hotel restuarant!

Not set up for long stays, no fridge in room, no juice machines, dining too expensive for everyday. We attempted to use the hot tub several times. Was only able to use once and it was full of sand. Staff were aware, but never did anything about it the whole week we were there. We also asked for a fridge, they said they would check and they never did anything about that either. Only double beds instead of queen. Location is good, close to downtown.
