Reviewed by Lisa D. of Burnsville, MN usa on Oct-2007 Stayed at the Property - Oct-2007 Completely moldy smelling room, looks like the walls are going to fall apart, bathroom is so small, we couldnt hardly get in to bath our 2 kids, this hotel is gross, espessily if you have small children that like to play on the floor. after mixed reviews, i gave it a chance, and it is just gross, we didnt even go down for breakfast, kids at the pool until 4am. and a very rude girl at the from desk.

I still would not recommend this hotel. The coldest our room got was 73 degrees with the thermostat set to 62. The pool was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom and the jets in the hot tub didn't work. Obviously no water softener as the shower water smelled of more chlorine than the pool. The desk clerk was also not very helpful and took several phone calls to set up wireless/get extra pillow/find informaiton.

It is inexcusable to be charged for local calls when there is no notice to that affect anywhere in the room. The grounds are need of repair. Brown grass, lots of weeds. Generally in disrepair. The room and facility were well maintained. The variety and choice of food at breakfast was excellent. The service at dinner was very slow, but the food good. Pillowtop beds were very comfortable. Although near the airport, there were few planes. It only took a few minutes to drive to the heart of Scottsdale.

It is inexcusable to be charged for local calls when there is no notice to that affect anywhere in the room. The grounds are need of repair. Brown grass, lots of weeds. Generally in disrepair. First time I've stayed there since Best Western name was dropped and it shows.

The facilities and suites, and exellent service, exceeded my expectations. I had a great night's sleep on their wonderful pillow top bed; what more can I ask for? Nice new furniture, better breakfast than most hotels with scrambled eggs etc. and most a good price/value. Highly recommend.

The room and facility were well maintained. The variety and choice of food at breakfast was excellent. The service at dinner was very slow, but the food good. Pillowtop beds were very comfortable. Although near the airport, there were few planes. It only took a few minutes to drive to the heart of Scottsdale.
