The room was big with a lovely view on the 8th floor, very clean everywhere and very comfortable bed. The only complaint is that sometimes it took awhile for the water to get hot. Tri-Met is right outside the door. For the value and location, you just can't beat it.

Pros: location
Cons: decor needs updating

As a whole, the staff was friendly and courteous. The food was well prepared and served in ample portions while being reasonably priced. The beds were VERY comfortable and the rooms were kept in excellent condition. The one blemish to an otherwise perfect and pleasant stay was an experience with the cantina. The hotel guidebook in our room listed the cantina opening time as 1 pm. However, it was not yet open when several groups of guests arrived at 2:30 pm to watch the Kentucky Derby. The bartender acted as if we were putting him out by being there and was very unpleasant and rude.

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Cantina

This hotel was perfectly located for a weekend shopping trip: accross the street from Lloyd Center and right next to the Max to take you Downtown. The staff is very attentive and sharp. The room was tiny but nicely arranged and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We decided to stay a second night which meant we had to pay full price. Parking for $18 a nite is obscene!! I would stay here again- but only at the internet rate...

Pros: location
Cons: expensive parking

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Did have a little trouble with my room key, other than that it was a perfect experiance. In-room internet access was a little pricy @ $10 a night. ***Perfect Location*** right next to the mall and MAX line fareless square to downtown.

Pros: Service of Staff
Cons: Room key quit working :-(

I thought that the Front Desk Personnel were great. Warm and friendly and even gave us a warm cookie upon check in. However it cost $9.00 to park on the EAST side of Portland, where most of the parking is free. The rooms are also very small.

Pros: Front Desk Personnel
Cons: Larger rooms, parking prices are too high
