The walkway to the beach was a little scary behind the adjacent buildings, but during the day it's really no big deal. The "patio" in our two rooms was a little odd, but since we were practically on top of the highway and train tracks, the enclosed patio most certainly helped cut down on the noise. My only real complaint - if you want to call it that, is that the gentleman at the front desk seemed annoyed that he had to assist us at check-in. However, when checking out, the lady was very friendly.

Reviewed by Jennie G. of Riverside of Ca USA on Jul-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jul-2007 this really was a nice hotel for 2 nights as we could walk to the beach, but it is so close to the freeway and railroad tracks that you need to be cautious with small children. Ask for a room on the opposite side of the freeway noise and you will be fine. We did and never heard a thing until we went out to use the pool and jacuzzi - a nice area but lots of road noise.

Location is GREAT, right by the beach, shops, and restaurants. You can walk everywhere! The "noise" from the train/freeway has never bothered me - the food, free drinks, and staff are the BEST. The regular rooms are huge - but splurg on the mini-suite because they have a lovely fireplace.

The train and the freeway are adjacent, so it's noisy and it's foolish to open the windows but the spacious rooms are great. Nice free happy hour and breakfast.
