We listened to a dog bark for an hour and a half! The first room we were given had urine all over the bathroom floor. Needs paint/ carpet/ ceiling tiles. Pool is great- esp. if you have kids. Staff was nice enough.

Carpet is a little worn and if you have to have something brand new, forget it. If a warm friendly atmosphere with great service as well as great location works for you, you have found a great place. This is not a characterless clone hotel as are legion nationwide.

This hotel is very nice for the nightly rate. The rooms are average but the bathroom was very nice. I would suggest bringing your own pillows as the ones in the room were paper thin. But, other than that we were very happy with the Outlook hotel.

If you've been to Boulder, you know the hotel choices are limited; w the exception of the Boulderado, most are "motel-style". The Outlook is no diff; w 1/2 the rooms accessed from outside; 1/2 from inside. Rooms are standard Best Western style -- functional. Staff was pleasant, helpful. My kids loved the lagoon-like indoor pool and the jacuzzi, as well as playing on the big boulders in the kids play area. There is also a game room here (8 or 10 video games) and a bar/restaurant.

Pros: Indoor Heated Pool
Cons: Everything else in need of rennovation

I grew up in Boulder and travel back often on business. Gotta say, if you're on a budget, this place is amazing. The staff really knows what service is and how it is to be delivered. Convenient to all of the Boulder Valley and right off the turnpike from Denver. You'd never know it was a rundown Holiday Inn 20 years ago!

Pros: The staff is amazing
Cons: For the price? Nothing!

(Get some of their potato chips, too) Front desk: The guys at the front desk are great. Activities: Hiking; etc. just a few blocks away with a big indoor pool!! Sleep? Never had a problem. Convenience: Major streets and highways a block or two away. Value for the $$: Great!!

Nothing!

Looking for view: Out the front you see the Flatirons. Music: Look into the restaurant at night for some really great blues. (Get some of their potato chips, too) Front desk: The guys at the front desk are great. Activities: Hiking; etc. just a few blocks away with a big indoor pool!! Sleep? Never had a problem. Convenience: Major streets and highways a block or two away. Value for the $$: Great!!

Pros: Quality for money
Cons: Parking
Recommended For: Business Students Seniors Active/Adventure Singles
