Reviewed by Amber R. of Airdrie, of AB Canada on Feb-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jan-2007 We had a loft room, which was quite lovely. The room had a gas fire place and king sized bed. The hotel is in a very good location on the main Avenue walking distance from all the stores; also close to many of the ski resorts. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The hotel also has a nice indoor pool and Ski storage is available. Rooms have a pretty good view of mountains but hotel is only 3 stories and surrounding hotels partially block view.

One draw back was that you had to go outside to get to the indoor pool (fine for summer, cold for the winter). Would definitly stay here again.

The staff was pleasant and helpful and even upgraded our room to a loft suite as they were not full. They gave us coupons to the Evergreen restaurant at their sister hotel and the food there was outstanding (order the eggs benedict w salmon for breakfast). It is on the quieter end of the street and looks newer than some of the other hotels Reserve the loft suite if you can and enjoy a cozy fire after hiking or skiing!
