Reviewed by Tim G. of Richmond of VA on Jul-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jul-2007 Our room wasn't cleaned at 2pm and at that point we had to shower, so it just never got cleaned. But we were only there 2 nights, so it really wasn't necessary. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful; breakfast and snacks better than can be expected. Love the location and the old "boutique hotel" atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! |

Reviewed by Nicole H. of Madison of WI USA on Jun-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jun-2007 When checking in, staff had me down for 2 nights. I showed them my reservation for 3 nights, and they seemed kind of annoyed--like I had done something wrong. Rest of stay was great. Queen rm dlx was decent size, but small window AC could have been a little larger. Fruit and pastries out all day was night touch. Parking rate very reasonable ($10/night). Had to walk a few blocks, and some problems with paying for parking, but hotel staff resolved issue. Can't beat location! |

Reviewed by Tony S. of Salt Lake of UT USA on Nov-2006 Stayed at the Property - Nov-2006 I stayed at this hotel over the long Presidents Holiday weekend and was pleasantly surprised. After reading 2 or 3 poor reviews out of many good ones. I thought maybe the hotel was slipping. It is not by anymeans. Location, price, comforts, cleanliness and the staff are all great. I will stay at the Alexander everytime I visit Philly. |

Reviewed by Melanie C. of FL USA on Nov-2006 Stayed at the Property - Nov-2006 I was turned away from a major hotel that was overbooked and they suggested the Alexander Inn. After three days there, I will be returning. They were the most friendly hotel ever, had really nice rooms, free internet, a great breakfast buffet is included with other guests exchanging info with one another. Guests were all very pleased to be staying there and glad they were able to book it. They have only fifty rooms, are really reasonably priced and worry about where you eat, how you enjoyed the meal. . I will return again. |

Reviewed by Tom L. of Atlanta of GA USA on Dec-2006 Stayed at the Property - Oct-2006 What a great find! The Alexander Inn is the best buy for the price in Philadelphia. It's location is perfect, close to all historic sights, shopping, Avenue of the Atrs. A big breakfast buffet was included in the price. The staff was very friendly and had great recommendations for us. I will definately return to the Alexander when back in Philly. |
