Prices moderate for area. Don't miss Morraine Lake. Lake Louise Chalet is a little uppity for me. Beautiful area to visit/hike

No elevator - had to haul luggage 3 floors up. The rooms were small and boxlike, with no air conditioning and only a very small window to open for ventilation. Unfortuately, when open the noise of the train horns and traffic kept us awake. The town as such comprises a dozen shops for food etc. and the area is suitable more for a day trip from Banff or better still, Canmore.

We were upgraded to a loft suite with full kitchen. Enjoyed the suite with the exception of the bed. Bed was too small for two adults. Suite is more suited for families with children.

The staircase to the second floor smelled a bit stale - however it appeared that new carpeting was being installed at the time. We ate in the pub on site - the servings were huge and food was nice. I would recommend this hotel for those wanting to stay in the Lake Louise area and not have to pay a fortune for the pleasure.
