We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful and full of charm. Centrally located so you could practically walk everywhere: We had a fabulous time.

This is a lovely little hotel. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Be forewarned, though, the bathroom is tiny! There is no place to hang clothes while you are showering, and the way the shower door is set up, the floor gets soaking wet. And if you are traveling with someone you don't want to get dressed in front of, it makes for some interesting dressing arrangements.

Pros: Clean
Cons: Bathroom storage

Very nice/updated hotel close to convention center. They had business center that you could get on the Internet and print from (free). Hotel manager went to store to pick something up for our group that we needed. She had a car and made it very convient for us. The only thing I did not like is that the rooms were very small, and the shower needed a door (part of the modern design that is not practical).

Pros: Location to Convention Center
Cons: Size of rooms

I think this hotel was nice. The location was great, it was close to the Gaslamp Quarter and we were able to walk everywhere. The Hotel is modern, clean and has comfortable beds. The rooms are pretty small but you don't need more than what you get. The Hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly.

Pros: Great location, clean, comfortable and friendly.
Cons: It didn't have a restaurant.

I had a special request for a wheelchair accessible room, the standard room that I booked though this site was so small that I couldnt access half of the room, when I informed the front desk they immediately upgraded me to a awesome suite at a small charge so that I would be comfortable during my stay. The staff was very kind and enjoyed my stay in the suite. My advice get the suite if its not that much more, its worth it.

My stay at the Sofia was excellent. Yes, the rooms are small. But they are modern/ contemporary decorated, bed is very comfortable, high-end amenities and you cant get a better location. Try to stay on floors four or above as there is a greyhound bus station just below the hotel that gets noisy. I loved this hotel! Am definitely staying here again!
