My only complaint would be the shower heads-The water didn't spray out, it just seemd to pour out. Definatley will stay again/recommend to all my friends

Okay, the grounds were well kept, but we rented a room, not the landscaping. Room was small and stains on the carpet gave me the willys. Daybed was only big enough for a child, and "queen" bed was really a double. The "bedroom" was as big as a small walk-in closet and was completely filled by daybed and TV. Air conditioning didn't work most of the time. Room overlooked trucking yard which was noisy at all hours of day and night. Food at Tangerine restaurant was very overpriced. Tasted okay, but not fabulous. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel itself was very nice, the kid's suite adequate, and the staff courteous. The restaurant was a completely different story. The food was terrible, and the waitstaff too inexperienced. The homemade macaroni and cheese was fresh out of the microwave and that was the best thing they served. I recommend the restaurant on the corner next to the bus stop for an inexpensive and fairly good breakfast. If you're going to be visiting Disneyland, just utilize downtown Disney for meals.

Despite minor issues with the shower head and with one of the shutter blinds, we had a perfect stay. The hotel is a good walk from the theme parks, but we are fit so we had no trouble with it and found the quality of the room, the service, the food on site and the grounds all well worth the extra distance compared to those directly across from the maingate. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Room service was prompt and generous. We stayed in a 2nd floor concierge suite, so this review pertains to that style of room.

The Anabella is an apartment-style layout. The walk is about 10 minutes from the gates (hint - cut through Grand Californian). Room was beautiful but I obviously have some gripes: - They let pool be rented out all day (and hot-tub is in family pool, not the private adults pool) - Pools not heated - Paper-thin walls (you hear EVERYTHING) - Maids come in afternoon (3pm) even though we called that morning to request an early cleaning - No free internet ($10/day) Other than that they were great, very friendly!

Pros: pool
Cons: everything but the pool

I don't get why this hotel gets such high reviews! The room was extremely small! The king bed was just a couple of feet away from the window on one side, and a couple of feet away from the wall on the other side. I felt uncomfortable when anybody walked by outside because I was so near the window.

Pros: Close to Disneyland w/o the cost!
Cons: See review

We really enjoyed this hotel, and it was a great bargain. It has a Mediterranean feel, and we really liked the pool area and the rooms. Don't miss eating outside under the heat lamps at the restaurant; excellent food and atmosphere after a busy day at the parks. We enjoyed our walk to and from Disney (about 10 minutes) and found this a very good value. The staff was very courteous, as well.

Pros: the spacious rooms
Cons: nothing, really

I stayed at the Anabella Hotel on a business trip and liked it so much, I am brining my family back for a stay while we visit Disneyland - which is right across the street, by the way!

Pros: Beautiful Rooms & Grounds
Cons: Under Construction Right Now

We loved the little courtyard and bit of privacy in front of the room-didn't feel like we were right on the parking lot.Wish we had a room updated like website pic but great location, friendly&helpful staff and liked the room layout as well. We will return and take in an Angels game next time, too!

Not a luxury hotel, but comfortable. The room is clean and tidy. The staff is helpful. The food in the restaurant is good. However, the shower room design is very stupid, the shower room will be in completely dark if you close the shower curtain. Overall satisfactory as the price is low enough to overweight its shorages.

Pros: Price
Cons: Shower room

I don't get why this hotel gets such high reviews! The room was extremely small! The king bed was just a couple of feet away from the window on one side, and a couple of feet away from the wall on the other side. I felt uncomfortable when anybody walked by outside because I was so near the window.

Pros: close to Disneyland
Cons: the rooms
