Good mix of guests. No longer has continental breakfast, but with a refrigerator in the room we supplied our own. Not within walking distance of downtown, but can easily get there by car and we had no trouble finding parking in town.A bargain. Would stay there again.

Room was fine - roomy with some new features (carpet was installed the week we were there). The pool and grounds were nice too. Staff was very helpful & friendly. If you plan on spending a lot of time downtown, stay downtown. The desk clerk was pretty good about refunding our money

When we called the front desk at 11:30 PM, nothing happened, for the group then just moved the party to the parking lot a few yards away.

It is more motel than resort, but it has a great pool and grassy area to lounge at. The staff is great. Rooms are clean, good size with an excellent bed. Plenty of amenities like hair dryer, fridge etc. The breakfast was a bit lacking (just packaged muffins, at least some milk and Cheerios would be nice). I was quite impressed with this location and will stay there again

It is more motel than resort, but it has a great pool and grassy area to lounge at. The staff is great. Rooms are clean, good size with an excellent bed. Plenty of amenities like hair dryer, fridge etc. The breakfast was a bit lacking (just packaged muffins, at least some milk and Cheerios would be nice). I was quite impressed with this location and will stay there again

Reviewed by Carol J. of Bend of Or on Dec-2006 Stayed at the Property - Nov-2006 I just wanted to clear up a few items posted on the web page. 1st the pictures are make it look a lot nicer than it really is. 2nd is that it is more like 2 miles to downtown and a $15.00 taxi ride each way. If you plan on spending a lot of time downtown, stay downtown. The desk clerk was pretty good about refunding our money

Boy, was I surprised! This is the best deal in California! Would recommend to anyone. And would stay again. Be sure to take the tram up Mtn! And make the drive to Death Valley! Great! So much to see-so little time!

Reviewed by Carin Z. of Orange of CA USA on Nov-2006 Stayed at the Property - Nov-2006 Our 3 night stay at Caliente was very nice, though the last night, we lost many hours of sleep due to the noise from a large group partying by the pool. When we called the front desk at 11:30 PM, nothing happened, for the group then just moved the party to the parking lot a few yards away.
Pros:	The comfortable beds!

It is more motel than resort, but it has a great pool and grassy area to lounge at. The staff is great. Rooms are clean, good size with an excellent bed. Plenty of amenities like hair dryer, fridge etc. The breakfast was a bit lacking (just packaged muffins, at least some milk and Cheerios would be nice). I was quite impressed with this location and will stay there again
