Hotel is fairly new. Rooms are large, beds and couches. Small yet friendly hotel. Prime location, one block away from the riverwalk.

Pros: Large rooms
Cons: too little parking

Stayed 5 days and enjoyed. Rooms not any larger than a standard hotel room, but very nice. King bed, couch, very comfortable chair are all top notch. Train tracks are about 100 yards away, and trains are frequent, so horn noise is a bit over the top, but beyond that this hotel is well worth the stay. We walked everywhere, and never felt in danger of traffic or the area not being safe. If your a slug, don't stay here, this is not for you!!!! Happy to let the college types stay closer to the river walk where the noise level and party atmosphere is.

Pros: comfort value
Cons: parking

I am in my 20's and even I couldn't stand the loud train! The room walls are very thin. We heard our neighbor cough all night. Hotel is next to the freeway entrance, we heard traffic noise all night. The walk to the riverwalk is not safe because freeway traffic is either exiting or entering the freeway at high speeds. Trolley was helpful. The rooms were nice. But due to the inconvenient location to the river walk and noisiness, we will not stay here again. I prefer sleep over money in my pocket.

Get a room on the back side on the 1st floor. Streetcar is really a bus at $1/ride and gets you downtown. Or you can walk and see the changing colored lights under the freeway. The breakfast is not free but good.
