Its a Quaint Little historic hotel . The Lobby rivals the most lavish European Hotels . The room was furnished with antique looking Cherry wood furniture . It was close to everything . you can walk to the casino, Steam Boat, Cafe Du Monde and burbon Street. Just down the street from the House of Blues. I will request this hotel the next time I go .They were renovating at the time , it was just a mimor inconvenience . I used the service elevator ,because it was closer to my room . There are rooms with balconies and enclosed balconies for guests to have private parties .

Pros: Its Historic decor
Cons: Currenly renovating

Rooms suprisingly nice and very clean. Restroom imaculately clean and serene green color. Beds huge and pillow /comforter very comfortable and inviting-upgraded mattresses/firm. Poor bed support under-bed collapsed but staff moved us to better room. Bed support still poor 1/2"plywood. Overall used room to sleep but staff went out of their way to help! Bell boys, management and housekeeping extra nice! I highly recommend this hotel. They just need to reinforced all beds better for me to give highest rating. Thank you! ;-) Maria & Darren, AR

Pros: very clean, nice staff ,close to everything

Friends and I booked the Bienville for its location. We attended the Monday Night, New Orleans vs Atlanta Falcons game and walked to and from the game. Spent time at Harrah's Casino, three blocks away. Evenings in the French quarter were nice, on site. Old but Charming hotel would stay there again.

Bienville house is the perfect place to stay when visiting the French Quarter. The location is amazing--everything in the French Quarter is within walking distance, but you're far enough from Bourbon Street to enjoy some quiet. The pool is small, but lovely. Room was incredible. Stay here--you won't regret it! The restaurant is good, but like most French Quarter restaurants, not much is available for vegetarians.
