Reviewed by Kelly B. of MI USA on Jul-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jul-2007 This hotel was very nice & the location was great. It was close to some attractions & Walking distance to the Magnificent Mile & to catch the bus. Rooms were a tad small but still were very nice. Friendly employees. Had a very nice continental breakfast. I would difinitly stay there again if I go back to Chicago. |
|
| Pros: | The Location of most of the attractions |
| Cons: | Rooms to be a tad bigger |

Reviewed by Steve W. of Flint of MI USA on Jul-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jul-2007 The price was very high to begin with. Once taxes, fees and parking were added - absolutely unreasonable! Parking ramp was NOT accessable from the hotel, only from the street. Complimentary breakfast was a JOKE (stale bagels). Room was unacceptable. I have NEVER stayed in a "suite" that was so small and in which the bedroom was not separated from the rest of the space by a door. The hide-a-bed was terrible and the cot we requested was just as bad. To top things off, the desk clerk failed to ask, "how was your stay?" when we checked out. I DO NOT recommend this hotel! |

Reviewed by Michael B. of Memphis of TN USA on May-2007 Stayed at the Property - Apr-2007 This is a good hotel if you decide you want a good location within walking distance to the magnificent mile and VERY close to red line subway. The rooms are tiny...I mean REALLY tiny. Everything was very clean, though, and the staff was EXCELLENT, very friendly and concerned with making it a great stay. The free breakfast was a nice added touch too. Parking is somewhat of a pain (no valet and you have to walk around the block each time you want to enter the hotel), but you get unlimited in/out privelages. Overall I would recommend it. |

Reviewed by Randy G. of on Apr-2007 Stayed at the Property - Mar-2007 Great location! Front desk staff's customer service skills need improvement. Reservation error by hotel was handled very poorly by front desk staff. Indifferent attitude toward customer. Received smoking room as only option to correct error. Both rooms had stains on carpeting & sofa pillows. Parking is reasonable but is not user friendly. Rooms are very small and dated. Even considering good location to Mich ave and Rush street, would only recommend if not spending much time at hotel. |

Reviewed by Chantal T. of Champaign of IL USA on Feb-2007 Stayed at the Property - Feb-2007 Price is right for heart of downtown: next to deep-dish pizza, shopping, and nightlife. No frills room, but it was clean and size was adequate w/ fridge and microwave. Free internet was a plus. Hotel staff was extremely friendly. They even offered us late checkout. Parking was decent for downtown ($25), but there was no valet. Not a fancy hotel, but because of the price and convenient location, I'd defintely stay here again. |

Reviewed by Diane H. of MO USA on Oct-2006 Stayed at the Property - Oct-2006 I was disappointed upon arrival to learn that even though I had reserved a non-smoking room, the hotel put me in a smoking room. When I complained, I was first told that there were no non-smoking rooms left. After continuing to complain, I was put in a non-smoking room. I was especially disappointed in the hotel's attitude towards me... It took the tone of "too bad, deal with it." That is not the customer service that I expect. |
