The only problem we ran into was that they were going to charge me for the room even though I already prepaid. I am glad we didn't do the express check out. Other than that, it was great. We definatley will stay again. Thanks!

Reviewed by frank v. of monroe of ct usa on May-2007 Stayed at the Property - May-2007 i gave the showbaot a second chance after a decent stay last time. this time i was impressed. the renovated rooms in the bourbon tower were awesome, great plasma tv, very clean and modern a+. loved the food and the house of blues casino and bar was awesome as usual. im now hooked on this hotel and cant wait to go back. still one of the best priced casino hotels on the boardwalk!

Reviewed by Amanda S. of York of PA USA on Mar-2007 Stayed at the Property - Mar-2007 we stayed in the house of blues studio it was clean and the room was great the view was awful, we went to the French Quarter Buffet for lunch, the food was cold, and when we went back to our table, someone eles was sitting there, when talking to the sitting personal they were rude and stuck in a lil corner, were I could not even get out of with out moving the table, When we checked in to our room it was 2:30 and our room was not ready! the lady at the check in counter was very hard to understand.

Reviewed by frank v. of monroe of ct usa on Feb-2007 Stayed at the Property - Feb-2007 this hotel was decent but i expected more for the price. check in was ok but they werent very friendly. we stayed in the new orleans tower which is new, most of the furniture was damaged (missing cabinet on entertainment center, beatup side table by bed,) room was clean. except for ripped comforter on bed. restaraunts were awesome, we tried the rib and chophouse (expensive but worth it) and the mansion restaraunt. room service was great too despite 2 hours to deliver. house of blues area was the highlight of the hotel. all in all not bad but unless room was comp i would try another hotel.

Reviewed by a f. of meriden of ct usa on Feb-2007 Stayed at the Property - Jan-2007 we recently stayed at showboat and we couldn't get out there fast enough. the last day of our visit, we found mouse droppings inside our bathroom. upon further examination, we found them throughout our bed. they had also been in a bag of candy we had purchased to take home. we only pray they weren't in the bed while we were asleep. we have no plans to return to showboat again.

Showboat was definitly our favorite so far. The room was beautifiul, it felt very luxurious. The casiono in the hotel was big and they had great service with the drinks while you were gambling. Overall it was a great weekend.

We were not given a smoking room as requested but the clerk behind the counter found us one within an hour and a half of our arrival - house of blues is a great place for a concert - everything was clean - just a good experience.

The walls of said corridor are littered with old people, for as far as the eye can see. I mean, really old people, it almost looked like a leper colony. My friend loudly inquires if we just entered the AC morgue.....not worried at all that any of these people will actually hear him.

Reviewed by frank v. of monroe of ct usa on Feb-2007 Stayed at the Property - Feb-2007 this hotel was decent but i expected more for the price. check in was ok but they werent very friendly. we stayed in the new orleans tower which is new, most of the furniture was damaged (missing cabinet on entertainment center, beatup side table by bed,) room was clean. except for ripped comforter on bed. restaraunts were awesome, we tried the rib and chophouse (expensive but worth it) and the mansion restaraunt. room service was great too despite 2 hours to deliver. house of blues area was the highlight of the hotel. all in all not bad but unless room was comp i would try another hotel.

Showboat was definitly our favorite so far. The room was beautifiul, it felt very luxurious. The casiono in the hotel was big and they had great service with the drinks while you were gambling. Overall it was a great weekend.

The walls of said corridor are littered with old people, for as far as the eye can see. I mean, really old people, it almost looked like a leper colony. My friend loudly inquires if we just entered the AC morgue.....not worried at all that any of these people will actually hear him.

We were not given a smoking room as requested but the clerk behind the counter found us one within an hour and a half of our arrival - house of blues is a great place for a concert - everything was clean - just a good experience.

But, I must say the Show Boat is the best. Good food , Nice rooms and a great staff. I never have a problem staying here..Those guest that say they have problems must have their eyes shut..Show Boat is TOPS in Atalntic City.

The walls of said corridor are littered with old people, for as far as the eye can see. I mean, really old people, it almost looked like a leper colony. My friend loudly inquires if we just entered the AC morgue.....not worried at all that any of these people will actually hear him.

Showboat was definitly our favorite so far. The room was beautifiul, it felt very luxurious. The casiono in the hotel was big and they had great service with the drinks while you were gambling. Overall it was a great weekend.

Casino was fun and the drinks were free as long as you were gambling...bartenders and wait staff were friendly...I will stay there again when I come back to AC
