This hotel was a great disappointment. The staff are not helpful. Pool was dirty. Facilities are below avg.

Escaz? is the ?Americanized,? upscale part of San Jos? a bit isolated from city. A few good shops can be found but nothing truly Costa Rican like you find downtown. Rooms are seriously overpriced.

Close to restaurants (some American) and a large shopping mall. The hotel is small and the rooms are not that great. The food is terrible. Chicken from Room Service made me sick for two days. Service is ok. This is mostly for business travelers. Stay at the Full Service Marriott near the airport. It is very nice! and worth paying a little more.
